Having spent a large part of our careers in the hustle and bustle of corporate life, we see the futility of fast food and the deleterious effects of inappropriate food habits.

We began by operating a franchise for milk and ice cream, were into the restaurant business,  and then eventually an Organic foods store. These experiences provided further insights into consumption patterns, fears of consumers and their objectives for their families.

We learnt about the significance of balanced diets, and began exploring the untapped potential of local and traditional foods. The more we learnt, the more we realized that these ancient culinary traditions held the key to a healthier future.

Thus we founded Poshika, with our first product a Multigrain Food that we ourselves have been making and consuming at home for about 15 years. Curated and developed with liberal inputs from young and old, many a mother focused on providing the best for her child, and even an extended market trial for about a year. The biggest challenge was the transition to manufacturing consistency and efficiencies designed to reach customers in the most economical and efficient way.

We  believe that access to nutritious food and healthy eating are essential pillars of a prosperous and thriving society.
